Synopsis

The Life and Adventures of Robinson Crusoeis written byDaniel Defoethe master of adventure narratives an English writer and Journalist. Contrary to the popular belief Robinson Crusoe is only a fictional character created by the author.Robinson Crusoe is passion for adventure travelling is against their parent wishes who want him to pursue a career in law. In spite of his parent’s denial, he starts sailing from the Queen's Dock in Hull on a sea voyage in the year 1650. Though his ship is wrecked in a storm, his lust for the sea makes him to sail again after repairing his ship. Soon his ship is taken by pirates and he was kept as a captive. He escapes from the pirates in a boat along with a boy names Xury and both of them were rescued in the sea by a Portuguese ship.
While he is on a mission to bring slaves from Africa, his ship wrecked in a storm and reaches an Island. The rest of his adventures is set in the Island for many years which made their parents to think, he is dead.
