Shifting Sands is written by Sara Ware Bassett an American author who wrote educational books and fiction novels. Her fiction novels were set in the fictional villages she created namely Belleport and Wilton.
Most of her novels contains humorously eccentric characters and primarily based on New England characters. Apart from her writing carreer, she has also served as Kindergarten teacher in Newton public schools and wrote many educational books including “The Story of Lumber", "The Story of Wool", "Paul and the Printing Press", "Steve and the Steam Engine" and "Walter and the Wireless" . Her most popular novels list includes “The Taming of Zenas Henry", "The Harbor Road," and "The Wayfarers at the Angels'.
