Synopsis

A Guide to Health is written by Mahatma Gandhi, the preeminent leader of Indian nationalism in British-ruled India. Many would be surprised to find a book on health written by a personality which the world knows him as a political leader.
This book was originally written in Guajarati, the author’s mother tongue has been translated to English by RAMA IYER. In his introduction the author mentions about the need and the circumstances which lead him to write a book on health.
His years of living in England, has to arrange his own food and drink and his experience must be reliable source to write the book. We often be the victim of ignorance in many crisis and health is not an exception to that. The author believes in the popular saying “prevention is better than cure”.
