Synopsis

Twice Told Tales is a collection of short stories written by the American novelist Nathaniel Hawthorne,  best remembered for his works such as The Scarlet Letter, The House of the Seven Gables, Mosses from an Old Manse, and A Wonder-Book for Girls and Boys. More than 30 short stories which were published previously in various forms have been compiled into two volume work.  The short stories in this collection include The Gray Champion, Sunday at Home, The Wedding-Knell, The Haunted Mind, The Ambitious Guest, and Dr. Heidegger's Experiment.
