Angela Messenger, a Cambridge graduate leads a simple life in spite of having inherited her huge wealth. Harry Le Breton , a young aristocrat also having similar thoughts on the labour class. The novel narrates the story of them with the back round of various emotions including comedy, satire, romance and crime scenes.
