Synopsis

Hard Timesis written byCharles Dickens, an English writer and has been regarded as the greatest novelist of Victorian era who wrote many popular novels such as “Great expectations” and “A tale of Two Cities”.Hard Times has uniqueness in many aspects while comparing other works of Dickens, such as a smallest novel of Dickens, does not have a preface and not illustrated and not based on London.
Thomas Gradgrind raises his children Lousia and Tom purely based on economic theories and does not believe or value things as fiction, poetry etc.  His statistically brought up children destined their life in miserable conditions is the core theme of the story.
