Overview | Catalog

This may be the only book for which Mark Twain has done extensive research which spanned across 12 years in France. This book can be better described as a historical fiction biography of the controversial, beautiful and modest French warrior Joan of Arc. The biography of Joan of Arc has been written as a fascinating story of love, faith and innocence. Twain should have fallen in love with the heroine of the war which spanned for decades.
