Synopsis

Gargantua and Pantagruelwritten byFrançois Rabelais, an author of French origin who has been regarded as fantasy writer and one of the great writers of world literature and modern European writing.
The story is based on the themes of satire and fantasy in nature, narrates the life of giants Gargantua and his son Pantagruel. Gargantua wife dies after giving birth to Pantagruel and Pantagruel grows as a giant. They are narrated as giants to the extent that an entire nation is living under the teeth of his mouth. Despite of its poor construction and crudity, the novel is popular due its amusing text.
