Synopsis

Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Seasis a science fantasy fiction novel written byVerne, a French novelist whose numerous science fiction novels such as Around the World in Eighty Days, and  Journey to the Center of the Earth has created greater influence worldwide.
A Sea monster is spotted by many captains and United States assigns the task of finding and destroying the monster to a French marine biologist Professor Aronnax.  Aronnax starts the mission accompanied by Canadian master harpoonist Ned Lan and his servant Conseil.
During their voyage under the sea, the encounter the monster and an attack damages their ship. They were surprised to witness; the monster is not a creature rather an advanced technology submarine. They have been captured by the crew of the submarine and brought to meet its creator Captain Nemo.
Captain Nemo narrates his story to the Trio that he has built his submarine Nautilus which is powered with advanced marine biology research lab is roaming under the sea without control from any government. Nemo has exiled himself from the society and is on verge of taking revenge on the civilization on account of an encounter with the forces that occupied his country.
Under the sea the crew comes across many hurdles including attack from deadly octopuses which results in death of crew members. In the preceding incidents, a warship attacks the submarine and the Trio escapes, however nobody knows about Captain Nemo after that attacking incident.
